Mentor Agreement

All mentors must agree to the following three things:

  1. I fully understand that by participating as a Mentor, I am agreeing to the following:
    • At least one e-mail exchange per week with my Mentee;
    • At least one phone call per month with my Mentee;
    • At least one site visit per year (preferred, but not required)
    • Call into a monthly conference call with Mentors and the leaders of BetterGrads;
    • Active participation in this program for one year from the date I submit this form.
  2. I fully understand that initiating or engaging in any inappropriate interactions or conversations with my Mentee or other participants in this program will result in my expulsion from this eMentoring Program, and possible further disciplinary action. I will use common sense and sensible discretion in all my interactions with minors. I will report any inappropriate or unsettling conversations or actions by my Mentee or other program participant to the on-site coordinator for this eMentoring Program.
  3. I have read and understood the Program Booklet and this Agreement Form in its entirety, and agree to all the program features, requirements, responsibilities, risks, and privacy regulations described therein.
