Bet­ter­Grads helps high school stu­dents reach their college-going poten­tial through online men­tor­ing, in-person advis­ing, and ever-accessible sup­port from col­lege stu­dents and young pro­fes­sion­als in their own com­mu­nity and around the coun­try. Bet­ter­Grads envi­sions the day when every high school stu­dent in the United States has access to excel­lent col­lege advis­ing and prepa­ra­tion resources, regard­less of their back­ground or the resources of their school.

We are cur­rently oper­at­ing in the San Fran­cisco Bay Area. Since our incep­tion in May 2009, we have reached over 900 stu­dents and par­ents through 12 in-person col­lege pan­els at three local high schools, with more on the way.

At BetterGrads.org, we offer 125+ college-related arti­cles and blog-entries, writ­ten by cur­rent col­lege stu­dents and recent grad­u­ates, on top­ics such as finan­cial aid, admis­sions, aca­d­e­mics, social life, life after col­lege, and more.
