Our first grant!

The Rotary Club of Livermore Valley has been one of our strongest supporters in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The club's leadership took up our cause at the beginning of the summer, and have been strong champions of our work ever since. Our lawyer, accountant, and business advisers all come from this Tuesday morning club. Our first presentation at Granada High School is a direct result of a connection made by a youth advocate in the club. Hours and hours have spent in close collaboration with the club's members, brainstorming strategy and implementation, big picture and "what's next?"

For these reasons, I am thrilled to announce that the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley has committed to us a generous grant!

With our operations expenses in the thousands of dollars, this kind of fiscal support is essential for us to continue and grow. We are very grateful to the Rotary Club of Livermore Valley and to Rotary International for its commitment to youth and youth programs.

For information on how to make a matching donation and support our youth, please feel free to contact me at kevin[at] bettergrads [dot] org.

Thank you again, Rotary Club of Livermore Valley.
