What a timely post with flu season and freezing temperatures! The first couple of times I got sick while away at school seemed ten times worse just because I was missing the comforts of home. I definitely recommend that students stock up on basic necessities so that they are already prepared when that first hint of a cold hits. My favorites are Airborne, Dayquil & Nyquil, honey throat lozenges, and Tylenol (acetaminophen). Also, I know it seems dramatic, but students with allergies (food, medicine, etc) should tell their roommates and RAs just to be safe. A lot of people don't want to seem paranoid, but it's definitely worth it to make sure that others are aware just in case!<br>Hope you feel better, Matt!
